The Learning Cycle

The next Learning Cycle will be Spring 2016 and we hope you can join us! We bring cultures from around the world to your classroom in order to promote responsibility, peace and inclusion in our schools and communities. This is a totally FREE program. 

 

The Learning Cycle offers middle school students the opportunity to follow along on cultural journeys of discovery to the far reaches of the globe. Students follow the program via the internet, participation in specially designed curriculum and by tracking and communicating with the team members along their journey. The Learning Cycle expands the walls of the classroom as students learn geography, health, science, history, life skills and world studies. 

 

The Learning Cycle is a compelling program that begins with an introduction to the region, geography and the people of the land. The website will includes journal entries, links to news articles and videos from the journey. Each Learning Cycle will take students into the homes, schools and working environments of people in the region as a way to share cultures, hopes and dreams through the voice of kids.
